Draft FY 2023 Moving To Work Plan (MTW)
On February 1, 2022, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development executed a twenty (20) year Moving to Work (MTW) Agreement with Lake County Housing Authority (LCHA) as part of the latest Cohort of the Moving to Work Demonstration Program. LCHA invites residents to review and comment on LCHA's Draft MTW Plan. All LCHA program participants are welcome to attend. Copies of the Draft MTW Plan can be obtained HERE.

Disposition of Eleven (11) Public Housing Properties in the Communities of Antioch, Beach Park, Grayslake, Lake Zurich and Mundelein, AMPs 4 & 5

The Lake County Housing Authority administers a Public Housing portfolio of 495 units. The federal funds for public housing are inconsistent and have been dwindling over the years, leaving LCHA with insufficient funds to maintain and improve our public housing units. LCHA has been exploring ways to deal with this financial situation. The proposed solution is a program called Section 18 Demolition/Disposition. This program will allow us to dispose of our scattered site Public Housing units and use the proceeds from the sales to increase our affordable housing stock. All LCHA program participants are welcome to attend.

Pursuant to executive order 2022-13 signed by Governor Pritzker and guidance provided by legal counsel, the Lake County Housing Authority may conduct this RAB Meeting by use of telephonic or electronic means without allowing a physical presence. LCHA program participants may access this meeting as follows:
