Lake County Housing Authority Notice of availability for Public Review & Comment and Public Hearing: 2021 Admissions and Continued Occupancy Policy (ACOP), Grievance Procedure, Pet Policy and Lease
The Lake County Housing Authority (LCHA) is revising the Admissions and Continued Occupancy Policy (ACOP), the Grievance Procedure, the Pet Policy and the Public Housing Lease.
In accordance with Section 5A of the United States Housing Act of 1937 (USHA), as amended by Section 511 of the Quality Housing and Work Responsibility Act of 1998, the Lake County Housing Authority has prepared an amended Admissions & Continued Occupancy Plan, Grievance Procedure, Pet Policy and Public Housing Lease for public review and comment for a forty-five (45) day notice period. The purpose is to review the proposed changes and submit comments during this public comment period.
The purpose of the ACOP is to establish guidelines for LCHA staff to follow in determining eligibility for admission to and continued occupancy of public housing in accordance with HUD regulations.
All proposed revisions will be available for review from February 15, 2021 to April 1, 2021. See links below to download the proposed summaries & revisions:
